Since your evaluation is for a visa application, it is important that your evaluation equivalency be relevant to your prospective job. There are primarily two types of evaluations: 1) Academic and 2) Work Experience. In general, if your degree is equivalent to the proper U.S. degree on its own and the degree is related to the job you will do, you will only need an evaluation of academic credentials. If your degree is not equivalent to a U.S. degree, or it is in a different field then the position on your visa application, a work experience evaluation will be necessary. If you are unsure which type of evaluation you need, Morningside's staff can only assist you after your documents have been submitted, and you have given 24 hours for the case to be entered into the system.

For an Academic Evaluation we require copies of your university diplomas. If you have your transcripts (mark sheets), copies should be submitted as well, but are not always required.

For a Work Experience Evaluation, Morningside requires clear documentation about your work experience. Ideally, these should come in the form of a C.V. and/or detailed work letters from former employers.

These work letters or C.V. must include: 1) the company's name, 2) your job title, 3) the exact dates of each job's duration (month and year), and 4) details about the specific duties and responsibilities of each position.

Documents must be sent via E-mail, Fax, Postal Mail, or uploaded on our website. When submitting your documents, please fill out the Evaluation Request Form to the best of your ability as completely as possible. Make sure to spell your name clearly and include your contact information; we must have your mailing address and phone number where you can be reached..

Morningside can only complete your evaluation after receipt of payment. The easiest way to make a payment is to fill out the Credit Card Deposit Sheet and send it along with your Evaluation Request Form and documents (there is a $5 convenience processing fee for all credit card payments). You can also pay by credit card or eCheck.

If you would like to pay by check, you can either send the check by mail with you entire request (assuming you know the correct fee) or, if you are faxing your documents, you must wait for an associate from Morningside to call you with a case number to write on your check.

If you fax your request to us, do not send a check until a member of the Morningside staff calls you and gives you a case number.

Standard service for evaluations is three days. Next Day and Same Day processing are also available. Expert Opinion Letters generally take 3-5 business days. Check our rate sheet or consult your attorney for pricing information.

Once completed, your evaluation will be sent to you by E-mail or Fax (depending on which delivery method you request on your Evaluation Request Form), and then an original copy will be sent to you by USPS mail.
